The BMW 535d - 5 Series Saloon - Power, Refinement,
Performance.
The BMW 535d is
equipped with the latest six cylinder twin turbo diesel engine. The
new twin turbo setup almost eliminates turbo lag. One of the turbos
is smaller allowing it to spin up faster at lower rpms. The new
turbo setup creates 286hp
and 391 ft lbs of torque. The BMW 535d's engine accelerates from 0-62 in
6.4 seconds, while getting
over 35 mpg. The engine is a paired with a a six speed automatic
transmission for smooth silky shifts. Priced
around 39,000 EUR, the BMW 535d is a step up from your normal
BMW, but with extra performance many will not be bothered by the price. |
